Many people are against chain to elephants, carrying people to the jungle in the name of safari and enjoying, using them as a source of money, separating babies from mothers. This world is a common home of every human being and animals. Forcing elephants to carry people, chain them is against the animals rights.

To ignore this practice and culture, many hotels and travel agencies are doing different practice. Playing with elephants, painting on elephants body, understanding their lifestyle and living practices, walking with elephants, bathing etc. This service is provided by limited hotels and resorts in Sauraha for now, and we guess other hotels may provide this service on demand.
